A resident of Clear Lake, Iowa, Daniel C. Kruger is the owner of Kruger’s Lawn and Snow Care Services. He started the business in July 1990 and has run it for more than three decades. As owner, Dan Kruger is responsible for all lawn care and snow removal services. He oversees daily operations, develops and implements business strategies, and maintains strong relationships with clients.

An experienced business owner, Dan Kruger has extensive knowledge of lawn care, landscaping, horticulture, and seasonal snow removal procedures. During spring and fall he primarily cleans yards (removing leaves and sticks) while also thatching and aerating grass areas. During winter, Dan removes snow from sidewalks, steps, driveways, and parking areas. In the summer, he cuts grass, trims bushes and trees, and does minor landscaping.

Before becoming a full-time business owner, Dan Kruger worked at Opportunity Village in Clear Lake. He started as a caretaker working with patients who had various disabilities. He worked the morning shift, supervising breakfast, helping the patients take their medicine, and dropping them off at work. Later, he joined the maintenance department, performing upkeep work around the buildings, from lawn mowing to painting and drywall repair, texturing walls & carpet cleaning.

Dan Kruger studied business at Hamilton Business College. In his free time, he enjoys hiking and traveling around Iowa.
